We want to encourage children in their learning, to have AmbiTion to achieve their very best.

At the end of each year, we present awards to children across the whole school, in:

Reception, the end KS1, lower Juniors and the upper Juniors.

We hope these awards will help children aspire to achieve throughout their learning journey by rewarding effort and outcome for a variety of subjects and attributes.

Whilst these are our end of year awards, certificates are also presented to two children in each class every week throughout the year to recognise achievement, effort, curiosity, participation in events and demonstration of our F A I T H values and attributes.

Of course, all achievement can’t be rewarded all of the time. But presenting certificates and awards is a way that we can both motivate children and celebrate success.

Our school aims to nurture the value of SelF-belief   ResIlience   and   AmbiTion.

We hope that children will develop these attributes so that their best reward is something they can award themselves, by knowing that they have done their best and are pleased with what they have achieved!

Every day is a chance to learn something new and to improve on something you have already tried!
