St Gabriel’s C of E Primary School actively promotes healthy eating. Our menu provides healthy, balanced options that are appealing to children. Our catering staff will also ensure that any allergies or special dietary needs are met.
Pupils get a choice of two main courses, including a vegetarian option, a salad bar and choice of bread. We also offer a dessert and fresh fruit daily. We do not provide halal options.
A two course school meal currently costs £2.20 per day i.e. £11.00 per week. Payment is required via School Money weekly or if preferred, termly in advance.

Every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, is entitled to receive a free school lunch.
Note, this is different to income related free school meals (for parents in receipt of benefits), which applies to any year group at both primary and secondary school. If your child is entitled to income related free school meals, we will also benefit from additional funding to use across school.
