All Church of England and Methodist schools are inspected under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005. The framework for inspection is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) produced by the National Society for Promoting Religious Education, which was established in 1811.

The SIAMS inspection focuses on the effect that the Christian ethos of the church school has on the children who attend it. The principal objective of SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.

Our last SIAMS inspection was in 2017.  We were judged to be outstanding.
