Our School Day

 

Arrival in the morning:  The school gates open at 8.30am.  Children should not be dropped off before this time.  Staff open classroom doors at 8.45am. for children to come directly into school.  Please note, the yard is not supervised and younger children should remain accompanied until they enter the class at 8.45am.

Late arrivals:  The gates close at 8.55am.  Late arrivals after this time must report to the School Office.

Collection at the end of the day:  Please ensure children are collected promptly at 3.30pm as there is no provision in school for ‘child minding’ unless in exceptional circumstances.

We encourage parents to speak to their child’s class teacher – this is best done in an informal way at the end of the school day, or by appointment – please arrange with the office.

10.45am – 11.00am    Upper Key Stage 2 Break (Y5 and Y6)

12noon – 1.00pm       Y2 and Junior Lunch

2.15pm – 2.30pm      Afternoon Break (Infants only)
